It’s been a dry week for StarCraft 2 fans. BlizzCon is coming up in a couple of days, and for now, new information is nowhere to be found. Granted, we will be exposed to many new and exciting things very soon, but the wait is a difficult one.

Blizzard has updated its BlizzCon FAQ page with some relevant information for the lucky people who are going to attend the event. Seems like it will be hermetically sealed. The following items are not allowed:

  • Computers or laptops
  • Video cameras
  • Bags bigger than 20 x 10 inches
  • Large containers

iPods and other music players are OK, but connecting them to any computer is forbidden.

Unfortunately, due to these harsh restrictions, Blizzard fans will have to rely on “official” channels to get the new information from the event.

For those of you who have somehow missed what BlizzCon is about, here’s a short recap:

BlizzCon is a celebration of the Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo franchises and the players who have helped make them so popular around the world. Gamers from all over the world come together to enjoy many fun activities and to learn more about Blizzard’s products.

Tickets for BlizzCon were a bit expensive, at 100$ – but it should be worth it, as attendees will be able to play the latest StarCraft 2 build, as well as receive a beta key for a yet unnamed game.
