Dear Jason,

If only. There needs to be a beta first, at the very least.

The reason for the silence is probably due to Blizzcon coming in a few days - should get some news on SC2 then.

For me personally, I'm moving more toward just trying to have fun and get better at a games, primarily strategy games. The focus on recorded achievements and statistics is something I will actively distance myself from.

I left WoW because it became an endless item/badge/achievement grind. I had a lot of fun with WoW and made some good friends, but I look forward to SC2 where the emphasis is on player creativity and skill, not your character/account 'balance sheets', so to speak.

This looks like a cool system, but I've been gaming for over 20 years, and I can't say I'm fond of the shift in focus away from gameplay and toward and toward 'e-acheievements'.

I have to run on the corporate hamster wheel all day, I don't want to be involved in the same type of system when I'm gaming. =)

I think it's a great change, and yes the Protoss should get some buff when within the aura of the pylons, like faster shield Regen, or something. I like the idea of being dynamic and useful, and worth roping some anywhere you can. it's a liking thing, like all the Zerg army, why can't it be more deadly now too?

I started this discussion to discuss public usable web proxies:

Which are really anonymous?

Which can be used with facebook, myspace etc, in other words: are fresh ?

Which can you recommend?

Thanks for your help,
Dschibut

P.S.: In my land, the freedom of speech is somehow limited, please give me a hint, if you have doubts about your recommendation.

Ahh... Zileas. The guy wrote Academic-style works that analyze the benefits and risks of strategies... We all owe him for his efforts... he also worked on SC2.

It would be pretty awesome if burrowing on creep gave your units some sort of benefit. Even something as simple as "Zerg units burrow and unburrow in 50% the normal time while on creep" would make a lot of sense and go a long way towards making creep more terrifying.
