Yep - they're definitely getting better. I'll leave discussion about it until sc2blog posts about it (obviously its on starcraft2.com now) - presumably alongside the next q&a as well.

I think the last battle report has been my favorite so far.

It seems that the xel naga watch towers were activated in battle report #2, but cannot be activated in battle report #3.

The ghost and high templar details are interesting, will be good to see them in action to see how powerful they are. Both these units currently have two abilities that compliment each other for maximum effect; its a little less micro than in sc1 (science vessel was needed for emp), but seems fitting for the games sequel.

Good to see the colossus getting more damage. Although their weakness seems as though it should be just air, they seem pretty vulnerable to infantry spam as well. Hopefully in the next battle report we see them killing more units rather than just getting killed. I've never been too convinced by the horizontal beam concept- sure it has some strategy but it seems a little unfitting for the highly evolved and condemned war machine the colossus is supposed to be. I'd expect this unit to be fearlessly exterminating all life on the surface; pretty much the tripods from war of the worlds. If it had a better attack, and could attack while moving, I think we'd have something worth spending resources on.

Map editor details are exactly what I would expect.

What's a Daniel Lee?

This all depends on how much the Ghost is going to cost and how much mana EMP requires. It's pretty strong anyway, if only for the energy-nullifying effect...

This change really hurts the EMP+Nuke strategy that was so prevalent in Starcraft 1. :p
