All what I read here are good aspects of the game... but Blizard have said than LAN games will not be available. This is a very bad new, not only becouse LAN partys will not be possible, but becouse you will be able to use the editor for nothing, not very people use to play unknows custom maps in battle.net.
I was waiting this game becouse I love the editor feature, but now........

Those different death animations for different scenarios look friggin sweet. I love how Blizzard puts in so much work in polishing minor details. Well I guess most people care about bigger aspects but for me small things are just as important.

I'm pretty much going to write what Joe wrote.

I've been playing Dawn of War II; although it is a game that focuses much more on individual units, the animation quality isn't as high as what we've seen in starcraft 2. I guess those animation artists at blizzard are kept busy even with the perpetual delay on the finalization of units for release.

Starcraft ii battle reports have voice overs. If starcraft ii is trying to maintain its professional gamer league, you'd think that they'd provide voice-over support built-into the game itself. Perhaps, the system requirements are too demanding -- preventing blizzard from maintaining its strong compatibility mantra.

Karune has been raving about the map editor and battle.net 2.0. Its exciting to hear that the devoted sc2 community will have a first grasp on these stunning new features. Both these features haven't received the praise or they deserve, imho, from the fan site community. Both these features will be very powerful, and its good to hear that the involved starcraft fans will be on the ones influencing the final changes on their use.

Yay! Death animations!

Yay! Map editor!

Muta stacking with 100 mutas sounds kind of dangerous... But thats what makes it all the more awesome!

Too bad about the lack of voice in replays - it would have been interesting, although maybe it is safer this way.

Thanks sc2blog!
