The los mechanism sounds good, although what do units do when they are being fired upon? Do they still just run away in the opposite direction? Because that kind of conflicts with the 'higher ground attacker not revealing location' thing. If I see the direction my units are running from, I can estimate where the higher ground enemy is. It doesn't sound like much of an issue, but if my units know where it came from, I feel I should know too.

Perhaps there could be an indicator of some kind, so I know where the enemies are, but I am still unable to attack without los?

So if a n00b races through a choke point with a small light raid group (without air-2-ground support) to get at a terran whose turtling with siege tanks up high will be carved up.

That is all.

All hail the Nydus Worm! it shall truly be a scourge apon its enemies...
It would be awesome if units on high ground could do a special 'ambush' attack on units that don't have LOS, like double damage or something.
That would make for some awesome strategies with lone wolf dropped siege tanks on chokepoints, group of zerglings come through and get WASTED in a crossfire.

I really dislike that there is no bonus for high ground. Seeing how you usually always have a scouting unit at hand the advantage of not revealing yourself seems pretty weak.
